I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with people of all ages in New York city and throughout New York state and Connecticut. I specialize in working with individuals, parents, and children who experience anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and difficulty coping after stressful or traumatic events.
I have experience supporting individuals with various health and medical concerns, including diabetes, fertility and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), chronic pain, and autoimmune illnesses. Additionally, I specialize in working with individuals on behavior change including quitting smoking, and developing other healthy habits.
My therapeutic style incorporates evidence-based approaches including Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Exposure and Response prevention, mindfulness-based therapies and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
My goal is to help you identify the changes you’d like to make and remove barriers to your happiness. With the right trust and support, it becomes easier when someone is fully invested in your journey. Through our work together, you’ll be able to:
- Improve coping strategies and the ability to manage anxiety, OCD, and post-traumatic stress in you or your child
- Discover and implement strategies for managing challenging health concerns
- Experience positive behavioral change related to quitting smoking and adopting healthy habits
- Resolve sleep issues with your infants or toddlers, leading to more restful nights for the entire family
My style is caring and supportive with moments of humor. The therapeutic space should feel safe and non-judgmental. Clients often describe me as warm, sincere, and curious.
Though some problems feel impossible to fix, I promise that there is hope in even the most difficult situations. Please don’t hesitate to schedule a complimentary phone consultation with me today.
