"Allow yourself the courage to speak your truth, find meaning, and experience transformative growth."

Are you feeling burnt out and exhausted from all the demands and stresses in your life?

It’s hard to feel good when you’re feeling depleted and overwhelmed. Life doesn’t have an easy mode for most of us. Stress, trauma, and loss can make it hard to stay on top of our responsibilities and manage problems like anxiety, and depression.

Despite the challenges that have gotten you down lately, you don’t have to be stuck here. You can heal all parts of you and reclaim your sense of wholeness and worthiness.

Meet Dr. Fanny Ng, Ph.D,

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with individuals throughout New York and New Jersey. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I also help folks manage caregiver stress and burnout, sleep disorders, chronic pain, cancer, and other health issues.

I practice from a feminist multicultural perspective that is LGBTQIA+ affirming. My work empowers my diverse clients to thrive in a complex society and uncover what matters to them most. I enjoy helping people regain their inner strength during difficult moments in their lives. Together, we’ll explore issues related to identity, race, culture, gender, work, and family.

Therapy is an investment in yourself and your invaluable well-being. My wish in our work together is to help you to:

  • Experience relief from the burdens holding you back from living a full life
  • Find effective strategies to manage and resolve overlapping problems
  • Develop more meaningful, authentic, and fulfilling relationships with yourself and others
  • Cope better with life changes related to relocation, work, school, grief and illness

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.

If you’d like to learn more about how I can help you, please schedule a free 30-minute phone consultation with me.

I also offer therapy in Cantonese.

Are you ready to grow and expand into the life you want?

Therapy may not always be quick or easy but it can be transformative and healing. I enjoy working with my clients to invite hope and positivity into their lives when they feel stuck.

It brings me joy to support, encourage, and guide my clients towards lives of health and wellness. I’m always amazed at how even small changes in our lives can be meaningful and make a world of difference.

Therapy is a gift to yourself and an investment in your long term well-being. Problems from your past and present don’t have to decide your future. We’re often more creative, reflective, and effective when we work together.

I believe this is true of therapy as well. I ask folks who are on the fence whether it could be worth a try to add a therapist to their team to help them feel better.

I believe openness, respect, and humility are critical in building strong therapeutic relationships. Being in therapy can feel especially vulnerable, so I take great care to create a safe space where you can explore sensitive topics.

Our diversity enriches our lives but can also affect our present difficulties and responses to treatment. So I strive to look for ways to use our differences and similarities in therapy to strengthen our relationship and our work together.

We’ll begin by discussing your needs and goals as we get to know each other.
